Recruitment Consultant — Emerging & Deep Tech
Remote | Full-time | RecT Solutions

RecT is a specialist tech recruitment agency operating across the US and Europe focused on Software Engineering, AI/ML, Data, and Product.

We don't do volume. We do precision.

We're hiring a Recruitment Consultant to own the sourcing and placement of tech professionals across emerging and deeptech markets, with a real seat at the table on business development and account management.

What you'll actually be doing:
  • Sourcing and placing tech professionals across emerging tech and deeptech verticals (think AI infrastructure, Web3, developer tooling, applied ML — not generic CRUD developers)
  • Running end-to-end search mandates: briefing calls, headhunting, candidate management, offer negotiation
  • Contributing to business development — identifying and converting new clients, not just waiting for inbounds
  • Managing active accounts: keeping clients close, spotting expansion opportunities, handling delivery with a high-quality bar

What we're looking for:
  • 1–3 years in tech recruitment (agency-side) — you know how to run a desk, you're not learning from scratch
  • Comfortable working deeptech or emerging tech mandates — niche roles don't scare you, they excite you
  • Sharp communicator — with candidates and with clients; you can hold a room on a BD call
  • Self-starter who doesn't need babysitting but also isn't too proud to ask for help
  • US or European market experience is a plus, both is a bonus

What RecT offers:
  • Remote-first — work from wherever you do your best thinking
  • Competitive base + uncapped commission
  • Real autonomy — you'll work directly with the founder and have genuine ownership of your desk
  • A front-row seat to some of the most interesting mandates in the market
Not for you if:
  • You want a big corporate machine and a rigid process
  • You're allergic to deeptech jargon
  • You think "good enough" sourcing is fine
